As the global energy markets are rebalancing, we have been witnessing substantial changes in LNG dynamics worldwide. Indeed, in the beginning of this decade one could hardly predict the oversupply in the global LNG market, as well as the degree of price convergence across the market areas that we have been recently observing.
The Greek Energy Forum is supporting the upcoming expert discussion at the INTERGAS LNG Summit in Nice (28-29 November) and calling the participants to address a number of key issues, such as the role of LNG in improving gas-on-gas competition in Europe and energy security, particularly in the Southeastern gas markets; as well as the implications of the current market dynamics on investments in LNG projects and the competitiveness of East Mediterranean LNG in the long run.
