The Greek Energy Forum (GEF) is hosting a prestigious closed event focused on the implementation of the European Energy Union vision, which currently corresponds to a high strategic priority for the EU.
The keynote speaker of this event will be the Vice President of the European Commission responsible for the Energy Union, Maros Sefcovic. This closed event will take place on the 17th of May at Hyatt Regency Hotel in Thessaloniki, Greece and will be mainly attracting representatives of the business, political and diplomatic world of Greece and the wider region.
The GEF has decided to take the initiative to invite Maros Sefcovic to Greece, in order to highlight in the best possible way the achieved progress around the implementation of the Energy Union via new infrastructure projects and international initiatives within and beyond EU borders. The strategic choice of the EU to promote the Energy Union, which entails the physical interconnection and regulatory coupling of individual national energy markets as well as the development of new "energy corridors” like TAP, will definitely upgrade the role of Greece in the region and will enable unique growth opportunities for its national economy.
Participation to this event is strictly by invitation only by the GEF. In the case of interest to attend, please contact the organisers via email at info@greekenergyforum.com
The event will be live streamed. Access the live link here.
