Thanasis Rousopoulos, General Counsel, Thenamaris

After a short period of time with a New York law firm and an Athens-based law office, joined Thenamaris (Ships Management) Inc. in 2004 as Legal Counsel. As from 2010 became the company’s General Counsel. Working for Thenamaris (Ships Management) Inc. has provided in-hand and in-depth exposure to a wide spectrum of legal matters including hands-on LMAA arbitration and international litigation, handling of cargo, charterparty, newbuilding, crew and other matters and disputes as well as dealing with corporate, banking, tax and other issues. Practices Greek law in various fields.

George Kokotis, Senior Manager – Portfolio Management, Cheniere Marketing International

Mr Kokotis has a strong commercial structuring background in a range of traded energy markets such as Power, Gas, Oil, Coal, LNG & LPG with in-depth knowledge and expertise of a wide spectrum of physical and financial energy derivatives. His cross-commodities experience was instrumental in a range of high profile projects from acquisition of physical assets, trading books, mergers of trading entities and their portfolios, upstream projects and business expansions in new traded markets. He embarked his career in capital markets and worked for Odey Asset Management and Ruffer Investment Management before moving on to JPMorgan’s equity derivatives business. In 2002 he switched his focus into the energy markets where he worked for a number of high profile European energy trading houses such as Enron Europe, RWE Supply& Trading and EDF Trading.
