Michael Tamvakis
Professor Tamvakis is a Professor of Commodity Economics and Finance, and the Director of Energy, Trade & Finance in the Cass Business School. He trained as an economist at the Athens University of Economics and Business in Greece, and then joined the International Centre for Shipping, Trade and Finance at the (then) City University Business School; first as a student on its MSc programme, and then as a member of its academic staff, when he also received his PhD. Between April 2003 and March 2009 he was the Associate Dean for undergraduate programmes at Cass. Professor Tamvakis lectures in international commodity trade, commodity derivatives and trading, energy economics and shipping economics.

Mr Livanios is the CEO of Energy Stream CMG GmbH.He has over 20 years of experience in structuring, negotiating, and implementing oil and gas projects, intergovernmental agreements, pipeline negotiations, geopolitical risk assessments, and market intelligence. He has advised oil majors, national oil companies, and oil independents on concessions, pipelines and LNG projects on investment strategies, establishment of joint ventures, privatization, and oil and gas infrastructure development.
Dr. Kostas Andriosopoulos
Dr. Andriosopoulos is the Executive Director of the Research Centre for Energy Management (www.rcem.eu) at ESCP Europe Business School. His research interests include energy price modelling, financial engineering and the application of operational research tools on risk management and investment techniques in energy, shipping and agricultural commodity markets. He is the Associate Editor for the International Journal of Financial Engineering and Risk Management, and a member in various professional and academic associations such as the Technical Chamber of Greece and the Energy Commission of the Industry and Parliament Trust in the UK.In addition to his academic profile he the co-founder and managing partner of Symmetria Web Solutions, and a partner at 3H Partners.
